don't stop get it get it
i am currently elbows-deep in creating the cheesiest powerpoint presentation in history.
basically, we need to show off our new logo to our board, and express to them that we have a history of completely rubbish graphics that makes this one look like the nike swoosh by comparison. and, since it's for a board meeting, it has to be designed for old rich people who find still images on a projector boring, but also find video on a computer scary and possibly communist.
hence: powerpoint.
and i am bringing the cheese. there are buzzwords. there are mission statements. there are eagles.
it's gonna kill.
i'm also dealing with lawyers, which is far less fun, especially since they appear disinclined to actually look at what i've sent them before issuing forth endless streams of paragraphs of opinions about it, thus making a five-minute, two-email chain of question and answer into a goddamn epic lincoln/douglas debate.
but it's cool, since i actually have some energy today, and am also taking advantage of casual day to rock my gil zeros and some tall tube socks with stripes. there's nothing quite like a good pair of tall, striped socks to make you feel just a little bit more like the iceman, and, therefore, a little bit more like kicking ass with style.
and, since i can't come up with a clever segue, here is a hot model in tall, striped socks.
happy ... whatever today is. go forth and conquer.
